CLIENT
SATISFACTION |
The law firm of Lerandeau & Lerandeau is dedicated to the much touted but
frequently unrealized goal of client satisfaction. We believe the following
three principles are essential to achieving that goal:
1. HONESTY - We tell our clients the truth about
their case. We will NOT say “Don’t worry; Everything will be fine.” Instead, we
inform our clients of the strengths and weaknesses of their matter, as well as
the Court’s likely resolution of their case. Our clients are informed
participants in their proceedings, enabling them to make better strategic
decisions. We provide honest time and fee estimates for the completion of their
matter. We only charge for the time we spend on their case and our out of pocket
expenses. In order for us to effectively advise our clients, it is imperative
that they truthfully disclose all the relevant facts to us. While we can always
work around difficult facts with advance warning, it is almost impossible to do
so when we find out about them for the first time at court. We assure our
clients that everything disclosed to us is protected by the attorney-client
privilege which we guard very closely.
2. COMMUNICATION - We keep our clients
informed of all significant developments in their case on a timely basis and
provide them with a copy of all documents received or prepared on their behalf.
If they have a question or concern, they can always contact us, and we are happy
to speak with them. We never dodge calls. We expect our clients to timely
communicate pertinent information to us. We are not mind-readers; In order to
address our clients needs, we need to be kept apprised of their current and
anticipated future circumstances. We can work towards our clients goals only
when they are identified to us.
3. APPRECIATION - We appreciate our clients’
business. They are in charge of their case and set the goals to be achieved. We
never take any actions unless they authorize us to do so. We will take whatever
steps that are necessary to achieve our clients’ goals, as long as they are
legal, ethical and in their best interest. Likewise, we appreciate payment for
our services on a timely basis. If cost ever becomes an issue, our
clients can always tells us to take a different approach or stop working on
their case. We are very cost consious and will always keep our clients apprised
of lower cost alternatives if available. |
