SPOUSAL SUPPORT
There are two types of spousal support. Temporary spousal support is intended to maintain as closely as possible the marital standard of living during the course of the proceeding. Judgment support is intended to help give the spouse incentive to become self supporting and is awarded at the time of the entry of the final judgment of dissolution. It is usually less in amount than the temporary award. For a better understanding of spousal support, call to set a consultation with one of our attorneys.
